I've moved to San Francisco for my freshman year. I hardly knew anyone there and I'm not the kind of person, who makes a bunch on friends on the first party. Dating platforms? Won't ever work for me, I want to experience life offline. A friend of mine suggested we try out unqr.me. I created a T-shirt and encoded my favorite Einstein's quote into it. At a party, we had some real fun while others where after us, trying to use their smartphones on our QR codes. It turned out I actually met some outsiders like myself at that party. We love to hang out together.... and, some people actually follow me now on unqr.me. I find it rewarding.

Three of us, we were an early e-commerce start-up in Krakow, Poland. My friend came to me one day and said: "we don't have a huge budget to spend on marketing, but we need a huge promotion that goes viral quickly". He suggested we use unqr.me. We had a motivating brainstorming on the possibilities and came up with sort of crazy idea to encode few of our business cards with unqr.me and spread them during one of networking meetings. The code did'nt lead to our web-page, instead it paid for your beer! Few days later we were amused to see trafic to our web-page increased dramatically. Now I keep unqr.me opportunities in the back of my mind and reach for them everytime I need it in my business.

I work in HR department of a Consulting company. My main task is to recruit, train and integrate staff, so that they are happy and efficient at work. It's always a dilemma how to set up an efficient integration of new people, who will be working together on an important project. I was just searching for inspiration, when I came across unqr.me and it triggered the whole bunch of ideas in my head! What we did is we've set up unqr.me profile for each new employee and asked him to think of a cool introduction (it could be a statement, a puzzle, a challenge for other colleagues, anything that would let others to know you better). This is always so exciting. I get to know my new-joinres a lot better by understanding their unqr.me statements and, needless to say, it's always so much fun when they hunt for hidden messages to "unQR" their colleagues. It's a never-ending quest and an excellent motivation for our team.
